what we do
In 1956, Alpha Phi became one of the first women’s fraternities to establish a Foundation. It was created as a trust agreement to award scholarships and promote cardiac aid. Today, the original priorities hold true in our five vital programs:

Supporting innovative leadership training and programming led by Alpha Phi Fraternity.

Awarding scholarships to undergraduate and graduate Alpha Phis.

While going through recruitment and learning about Alpha Phi’s philanthropy, I knew I wanted Alpha Phi to be my home away from home and give me the opportunity to support a cause I am passionate about - The Alpha Phi Foundation. After attending a few of my older sister’s Red Dress Galas in her chapter at UNCW, I knew that I always wanted to take on this event as a leader. Going to my own chapter’s Red Dress Gala this past fall, my passion for The Alpha Phi Foundation only grew stronger. Being able to see my own friends and family come together to raise thousands of dollars for Women’s Heart Health was an inspiring experience that I want to expand upon for years to come. I am so beyond excited to be Theta Nu’s Director of Red Dress Gala and continue the legacy for my sisters and the supporters of The Alpha Phi Foundation. Let’s make this year’s Red Dress Gala one for the books!!!
