Hello! I am Ava Colapietro and I am the Vice President of Membership Recruitment for Alpha Phi’s Theta Nu chapter. I am a part of MC ‘23 and am beyond blessed to hold this position this year. Being a part of this sisterhood has been one of the most impactful experiences of my college journey, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to grow, lead, and serve alongside such incredible women. 

From the moment I joined Alpha Phi, I was INSPIRED by the women I met—confident, empowered, and poised—and I hoped to become a reflection of them. In my first year in Alpha Phi, I was Director of Merchandising but I knew from the day I stepped into Alpha Phis recruitment round I wanted to be the woman standing up there. I quickly realized that recruitment is more than just bringing new sisters into our chapter, it’s about creating an experience that makes every potential new member feel welcomed, seen, and valued. My passion for Alpha Phi and what we stand for has only grown since then, and I’m eager to share that same passion with others. 

As your VP of Membership Recruitment, I will ensure that every aspect of recruitment reflects our chapter’s values of CHARACTER, INNOVATION, GENEROSITY, and SISTERHOOD.

The bonds I’ve formed here have truly shaped me into the person I am today. I don’t know what I would do without my sister, my best friend, and my roommate Kate. The circle of friends I have built within this sorority is something I have never felt or seen before. I am proud to be part of a sisterhood that builds women into leaders, friends, and mentors, and I hope to help guide our chapter in recruiting women who will uplift, inspire, and strengthen this community for years to come.
